Maybe the most well-written game I've ever played, and was a great introduction to CRPGs for me. There are some parts of the story that are paced a bit too slowly, or aren't super clear on what you need to do in order to progress, but it's absolutely worth your time. I played it on Switch, and there were a few technical issues with the port, but it got the job done and I think I only had one actual crash.
There are so many fantastic characters and stories in Disco Elysium. It has excellent voice acting, music, and art, too. All of that brings Martinaise to life as a setting, and it's one with great richness, density, and history. Mechanically, the game is marvelous. It's so much more than dialog, although dialog and point-and-click searching are the primary means of action. But the play of statistics, thoughts, items, and the complex web of possible interactions makes for an exceptional RPG.
